Technical PM
Location: Redmond, Washington
Hybrid: onsite: 2-3 days to start, will drop down to 1-2 days after ramp-up
Schedule: M-F 40 hours a week, standard core hours.
Target Start Date: January 2025
Contract Duration: June 2025 (potential extension)
Pay Rate: up to $50/hr
Candidate Requirements: 2+ Years of Experience
• Experience with a Product Launch (hardware preferred)
• Experience with project or program management
• Experience with PCs
• Budget & Inventory Management experience
• Tech support & troubleshooting issues - ticketing
Purpose of the Team: The team is responsible for the development of laptops and tablets - manage the process of hardware and software implementation leveraging the internal employees to test the products and provide feedback. This ensure the products being created, showcase the best representation, the employees use the products in work settings and consumer settings. The team is a bridge between the pre launch and post launch process.
Key projects: This role is looking at prototypes that have already shipped to market, so that the team can develop things that are happening before the product is launched. This team has a commitment with the product launch engineering team to manage the process after they go to the market as they push out new bugs or updates. The team needs a resource to be able to manage that process, make sure the team is recruiting people still for our programs and keeping things moving forward after they launch the product.
Typical task breakdown:
10% - Meetings
40% - Manage inventory (keeping track of what's being used and budget)
50% - Tech support or trouble ticketing for issues that come up and working through those.
